- Job Title: Quality Control Officer (4 Positions)
- Organisation: Mukwano Industries Uganda Ltd
- Duty Stations: Kampala & Lira, Uganda
- Reports To: Quality Control Manager

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished products.
- Review and update quality control procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and direct quality control programs to maintain production standards.
- Develop and analyze statistical data to establish product quality and reliability benchmarks.
- Work with the Quality Control Manager to set and maintain quality objectives.
- Provide technical guidance to laboratory staff and manage laboratory operations (including requisition of reagents and report preparation).
- Update and maintain records in SAP and other systems.
- Ensure compliance with confidentiality and data protection policies.
- Oversee product sampling, reporting, and documentation.
Qualifications, Skills & Competencies
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Experience: At least 2 years in a similar role.
- Knowledge & Exposure:
- Manufacturing regulations, laws, and guidelines.
- ISO Standards (desirable).
- SAP systems and computer literacy.
Key Attributes:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Professional presentation and high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality management concepts, tools, and methodologies.
