Job Description:
The Collections Supervisor will oversee the recovery of civil servant loans, ensuring effective follow-up on non-performing accounts, accurate payroll deductions, and timely payment reconciliations. The role focuses on maintaining high collection efficiency while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the institution’s credit risk management objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforce the Delinquency Escalation Process for all delinquent accounts.
- Ensure loans are correctly effected on payroll through coordination with branch teams.
- Collect and submit deduction schedules monthly for accurate reconciliation and posting.
- Identify unpaid accounts and initiate payment follow-ups with clients or employers.
- Detect accounts due for re-issuing and initiate reprocessing.
- Identify deceased account holders and process insurance claims within 30 days.
- Monitor active accounts to ensure all disbursed loans are receipted and accounted for.
- Track and follow up on Non-Performing Loans (NPLs) and liaise with employers for resolutions.
- Record and maintain employer feedback in the system for reporting and analysis.
Qualifications, Education & Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Administration).
- Strong computer proficiency.
- Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
