Job Description:

Kolaborate is seeking an experienced and passionate Mobile Application Developer to join its technology team in Ntinda, Kampala. The ideal candidate will design, build, and maintain robust, scalable mobile solutions for Android and iOS platforms. The developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, user-friendly, and high-performance mobile applications that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and develop cross-platform or native mobile applications (Android/iOS).
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless app experiences.
• Integrate APIs, third-party modules, and backend services to enhance app functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for better performance.
• Stay updated on the latest mobile technologies and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and sprint planning.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, Swift, or Java.
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, Firebase, or GraphQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD automation tools.
• Proven track record of publishing mobile apps on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Familiarity with mobile security standards and data optimization techniques.

Ntinda, Kampala, Uganda

Salary Range:

UGX 1,000,000 – 1,500,000 per month
